PROJECT: STAR POLICE – DISCORD MODERATION BOT Star Police is a Discord moderation bot developed to help server owners maintain order, security, and efficient community management. The bot was designed to automate common moderation tasks, reduce manual workload for moderators, and create a safer environment for community members. The bot includes a ticket system that allows users to open private support or report tickets directly within the server. This feature enables structured communication between users and moderators, ensuring that issues such as support requests, disputes, or rule violations are handled efficiently and privately. Star Police also features a verification system that helps protect servers from spam bots and malicious users. New members are required to complete a verification step before gaining full access to the server, improving overall server security and reducing unwanted activity. Another core feature of the bot is automatic link removal. The bot monitors messages in real time and removes unauthorized or harmful links based on predefined rules. This helps prevent phishing attempts, scam links, and unwanted promotions, keeping the community clean and safe. MY ROLE: DISCORD BOT DEVELOPER I developed Star Police as the Discord Bot Developer, handling the full creation and implementation of the bot’s functionality. This included designing the bot logic, implementing moderation features, and ensuring stable interaction with Discord’s API. I focused on reliability, real-time performance, and ease of use for moderators. The project demonstrates my ability to build functional, security-focused Discord bots with automated moderation, user management, and server protection features.
